
The leadership of the Chuka University Alumni Association today held a productive engagement in Kakamega with a distinguished alumna, Ms. Jackline Kakayi. Currently serving as the County Executive Committee Member for Social Services, Youth, and Sports in Kakamega County, Ms. Kakayi reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening alumni support systems and expanding professional pathways for graduates.
During the meeting, she pledged to connect members of the alumni community with employment opportunities within the county and to facilitate internship placements for young graduates seeking practical experience. The discussion emphasized collaboration, mentorship, and the importance of alumni networks in advancing career development.
Representing the alumni board were Mr. Linus King’ori (Chairperson), Mr. Lawrence Jabuya (Vice Chairperson), Mr. Wilfred Rutto (Chapter Representative and Ag. Treasurer), and Ms. Immaculate Nafula (Female Representative).
